Huacaya Alpacas

Despite the fact that she was born on 4/1, Magnolia is no April Fool baby!

Believe is a sweet girl with a great personality. She has a broad bone structure and a stocky build. She has nice, square confirmation and a great head. Her fleece has a consistent crimp structure from base to tip with a soft handle. She also has good amplitude definition and bundling. Believe's heritage is loaded with winning genetics including some big names like Accoyo Maverick, Royal Fawn, Private Reserve, Snowmass Nova, and Peruvian Bueno. Her fleece was one of the favorites for our local spinners and has made beautiful yarn.

Elderwood's Prince of Thieves is just what we ordered when his dam, Clio, was paired with Elderwood Farm's grey herdsire, Aladdin. Descending from Aussie Rockford, they knew that Clio could throw grey. Aladdin, a multi-blue winning male, nearly recreated himself! Prince's cria fleece was extremely soft with tiny curls all over. He has been cria tipped, and his fiber is coming back beautifully. This boy has the look! Full, soft coverage from head to toe. A nearly spotless, light silver grey blanket. Great, big bone structure. Let's not forget about that head and full face!

Knightfall has a regal appearance and demands attention. His cria fleece was extremely dense with pin curls galore. He has a macho build and an awesome profile. We will definitely be watching this boy closely as he matures. Knightfall stems from a line of winning animals, and we expect him to be a winner as well! His dam, Sunrise, is a large, stocky girl out of Pride of America and Dom Timbo. At 11 years old, she still displays a nice crimp structure and great density. She's a great mom and an extreme milk producer. Duke of Wakeman's Court Jester, his sire, is a phenomenal rose grey male. He's the complete package and a champion in the show ring.

Bailey is the first cria born on our farm and we couldn't be more proud! She has such a sweet personality. She's very curious about her surroundings and investigates everything. I can't wait to see how she develops.
